iBridge, is a modest specialist consultancy business that offers IT expertise to a range of local and national businesses. Following a very successful year this progressive and well established internet company is now looking to introduce two new roles to enhance our talented team that will assist us with our future plans for growth. We are seeking 2 ambitious individuals who have a passion for web development. Ideally already based in the Preston or Southport areas you may have already embarked upon your career or indeed be ready for your first role within IT.
Full Time Developer/Designer
We are seeking an individual that possesses a number of key skills. The candidate needs to an enthusiastic and dedicated professional with experience in PHP 4/5, MySQL. Knowledge of W3C standards, XHTML / HTML, CSS design (especially tableless layout), JavaScript and Ajax would be an advantage. Reporting directly to the Technical Director, you must be confident to work under your own initiative and to tight deadlines.
We are looking for an excellent character who can bring exceptional skills, energy and enthusiasm to this thriving company. Excellent prospects and further training will be provided.
You would ultimately have / get training and to work with the following skill sets :-
- Local Person (Preston or Southport based individual)
- Fluent in English with preferably 1 or 2 other languages
- Proven experience in developing with PHP, MySQL, Java, JavaScript, Ajax, XHTML, CSS & C# with MySQL or Oracle databases
- HTML, DHTML, CSS, PHP, XML, JavaScript, understanding the capabilities of web browsers & user interaction are essential
- Proven experience with CodeCharge & osCommerce, oSCMax, CRE or Zen cart
- Familiarity with planning, building & using web services
- Extensive graphic, writing, & user interface design skills
- In-depth knowledge of Dreamweaver, Photoshop & Flash
- Experience of Crystal Reports or other reporting tools
- Familiarity with CMS system like Joomla, Smarty or Drupal, would be excellent. Again you should be able to demonstrate design skills, allowing creation/modification of templates that would be useful.
- Experience with Windows, Linux & Unix environments
- PC support & networking experience would be advantageous
- Trustworthy/Responsible and Proven Autonomy
- Access to a reliable broadband connection

We are also seeking an individual who can demonstrate good creative design skills and has a keen eye for detail. |
